damn i'm so depressed... hahaha talking about wishes..
it's just that i've been watching the tour calendars of my favorite bands and i've seen that they're having a lot of shows, all of them so interesting and exciting and none of them here in Mexico!!!!!!
EXAMPLE #1: THE M'ERA LUNA FESTIVAL. this year featuring my two favorite bands at the moment: Epica and Elis!!!! also will be playing Delain, Lacrimas profundere, Moonspell, Samael and many other bands but most of all i like a lot these bands i mentioned.. if i could go to this festival i would be so happy, it would be like a dream come true because here in Mexico well, i get to see some of this bands very very occasionally, like every three or two years (making an average) and of course i don't see them all at the same show.. not like in this kind of festivals, in which every band takes you to their own world and makes you feel very intense emotions, you haven't even realize who you've just watched playing when another really good band is already rocking the stage.. here the only thing we have of that magnitude is the Vive Latino Festival, but i don't like it at all, it's not my favorite music the one you hear there. sometimes there are little festivals of heavy or goth metal at the Circo Volador like when it was a dark music festival featuring Elis, Theatre des vampires and another band, but it's not the same, in those festivals they only go like 3 or 4 bands, it's never as big as a M'era Luna... and the M'era Luna is so great!!! so great!!! in past years at this gorgeous festival there have played some other great bands, icons of goth metal most of them, that i like very much.. like for example Marilyn Manson, After Forever, Lacrimosa, Witin Temptation, The Gathering, Oomph!, Tiamat, Haggard, Lacuna Coil, Theatre of Tragedy, Xandria, Therion, Flowing tears, Leave's eyes, Krypteria, The Birthday Massacre and many many many other great bands..!! i wish i could go to a M'era Luna festival :'(
EXAMPLE #2: Kamelot is on tour with Edguy.. ON TOUR WITH EDGUY!!!! can you imagine how tremendously great is that for me???? two of my favorite bands of all time are playing together and where am I????????!!!!!! i just can't imagine my happiness if i could go to this show, and the nearest one will be on october 27th at Mexicali, Baja California, which is at the top of the country, i would necessarily have to take an airplane and for that i don't have enough money :'( KAMELOT AND EDGUY.. when will they be together again?? and if that happens, will i be able to watch that??
EXAMPLE #3: another one with Kamelot, but this time with the Metal Rock Fest, which will take place on Lillehammer, Norway on august 15 and 16. i don't know all of the bands that will be playing but the most important for me are: Kamelot (there are enough reasons for wanting to see Kamelot) and a band that i knew recently (like 1 or 2 months ago) and that I've been listening a lot: Alestorm, is one of those bands that once you've heard them you say "damn! how is it possible that i didn't hear you before!!!???" i like them very much.. and also will be Draconian, Twisted Sister, My dying bride and other bands that i haven't heard but Rammsund sounds interesting..
EXAMPLE #4: Sonata Arctica on tour with none less than NIGHTWISH!!!! can you believe it?? i mean, these things (like Kamelot with Edguy) you don't see them every day!!!!! Sonata Arctica and Nightwish are also two of my favorite bands and are touring together.. and they don't even get close to me, the closest they get is to Los Angeles...
EXAMPLE #5: other festivals like the Hultsfred Festival in Sweden, the Metal Female Voices Fest (wow, another one of my dreams!!) and all the festivals organized in Germany which are at least 15, the festivals of the UK, the Netherlands and of course in Scandinavia too as it seems that there is a good metal band in Scandinavia for each square meter of land there XD.. and also there are some good festivals in Southafrica and Japan u_u

hahahahahahahahahahaha i don't even work and i want to go to L.A., Mexicali, Lillehammer, Hildesheim and all the other places in which my favorite bands are playing... yeah, that's what i call dreaming very very big.. but it would be much easier if i lived in Europe!!!!!!!! for me Europe is like the land of dreams.. every country is well not too big so you can travel from one country to another in a day or less, plus the train tickets are not very expensive, plus the only thing you need to do this (besides money) is your passport. also most of them use the same m except for the United Kingdom, but anyways, the United Kingdom is composed by four beautiful countries, and also except for Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland, but i guess you agree with me that in any of this countries forcefully will be at least a date of any tour of any band ..
it would be so easy for me if i lived in Europe, to assist to this kind of events and of course i wouldn't go to every one because i'll have other duties to do but i would definitely go to the most important like my dear friend Leighton :) or i would do that whenever i felt sad or depressed to go and feel all that energy, i'd really love to be at a metal festival at this very moment, perhaps it's what i need, to let go of this stress and all this stuff that's worrying me and at the same time i would be enjoying of good music, surely a big amount of alcohol and surely good friends next to me..
what relieves me and makes me feel much better is that on september Epica will be here and that's great given the fact that they've cancelled their last 2 shows in Mexico and i had to go to ticketmaster and give them back my ticket so i can have my money again, that is so sad :( i hope they don't do the same this time because the situation now is similar to the last time they were coming to Mexico.. everything was so stressing and the only thing that made me smile was that i would watch Epica live and when they cancelled.. well, it was very sad for me.
anyways, i don't know when will i live in Europe but i hope it will be soon, i really want to watch live like 50 bands that i already know plus the ones yet to know but destiny says i'll love them from the first time i hear and/or see them, i have a big list of plans for the future :)
